What Are Botox® Anti-Wrinkle Treatments?
Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium Botulinum, manufactured for use in Cosmetic Medicine. Also called a neuromodulator, it temporarily paralyses the muscles it is injected into.
A very thin needle is used to inject small amounts of Botulinum toxin into specific muscles, carefully targeting them to relax your wrinkles without looking frozen. The number of injections you need will depend on your facial features and the extent of your wrinkles.
