CHEMICAL PEELS

Different combinations of chemical compounds are applied to the skin, triggering exfoliation of surface cells.  This encourages a new layer of skin to emerge, revealing a brighter, rejuvenated complexion. 

 

Individual skin concerns are treated in a bespoke way with peel types and strengths tailored to you.  Specific concerns such as acne, ageing and pigmentation can be targeted, with spot-treatments of pigmented lesions to maximise results.

I use Dermaceutic Peels from France, as these have high evidence and satisfaction rates.

Down time after chemical peel treatment depends on peel strength (depth), and can range from 1-3 days, up to 1 week.  Avoidance of sun exposure is important afterwards to reduce the risk of complications.

For optimal results, 2-4 treatments are recommended 2-6 weeks apart, depending on type and strength of peel.
